Disney World is a great place for families to vacation, but its location in Central Florida can mean some uncomfortable weather at times. Florida gets hot, and especially so during the summer. When you plan your day at the Disney parks you should also keep in mind how to stay cool and take frequent breaks in the air-conditioning. Hydrating is essential in staying healthy and energized during long days at the parks. You don’t have to carry around a reusable water bottle, nor do you need to pay money for single-use water bottles. There are several areas throughout all Disney parks to grab free cups of water for your entire family.
In general, any quick-service restaurant, food stand, or Joffrey’s Coffee Stand with fountain beverages will offer free cups of water. Other snack stands and food stalls that only offer bottled beverages won’t have a tap that supplies water. If you see a soda fountain behind the counter, they will be able to give you free cups of water with ice. You can ask for as many as you need, and my family likes to order two per person since the cups are on the smaller side. You can also ask for them without ice so you get maximize your quick hydration. If the line is long, ask a Cast Member for water and they might have some pre-filled cups set aside and ready to go. Here are the quick-service locations in each park that will have free waters for guests to enjoy.
