EPCOT is a dynamic park featuring several sections that work together to celebrate what it means to be human and live life together on our planet. EPCOT is the favorite park of many guests because of its many attractions and areas for exploration. EPCOT is home to World Nature, World Discovery, World Showcase, and World Celebration. World Celebration is home to many different experiences and attractions that seek to bring us together and form connections between us. Continue reading as we explore EPCOT’s World Celebration.
Attractions
EPCOT’s World Celebration includes the park’s entrance and stretches back toward the Imagination pavilion. Attractions this is section include the iconic Spaceship Earth. EPCOT’s park icon, Spaceship Earth, is an excellent dark ride that explores mankind’s progress throughout time. This dark ride begins during the stone age and ends during the space age and features several audio animatronics and intricate scenes.
The Imagination Pavilion is home to another attraction within this area: Journey Into Imagination with Figment. This attraction features the lovable park mascot Figment as he helps guests explore their imaginations and the endless potential that they have within them. This attraction is a dark ride attraction featuring audio-animatronics and several other audio and visual effects.
Disney & Pixar Short Film Festival is located just outside of the Imagination pavilion. This 18-minute long celebration of Disney and Pixar short films features 4D effects including rumbling, water spraying, lighting effects, and more.
Dining
EPCOT’s World Celebration is home to several dining opportunities including the newly opened Connections Cafe. This full-service Starbucks is ready to fulfill your coffee needs, as well as satisfy your sweet tooth with unique bakery offerings.
Connections Eatery is located nearby and serves up quick-service meals with tastes from different cultures around the world. Guests can enjoy Italian-inspired Margherita Pizza as well as Asian-inspired General Tso Chicken Salad.
Club Cool is another unique location within EPCOT, and is most famous for its free samples of Coca-Cola products throughout the world. Guests can order specialty soda beverages here like Frozen Coke, and shop for Coca-Cola merchandise as well.
Shopping
Creations Shop is your one-stop shop for all things EPCOT, and it’s located within World Celebration. This massive store contains EPCOT-exclusive merchandise alongside classic Disney souvenirs. This is a great place to stop on your way out of the park in order to find all souvenirs that you are interested in before you leave.
Entertainment and Other Areas
Another area within World Celebration is Dreamer’s Point. This area features a beautiful statue of Walt Disney, the man who started it all. Guests can sit next to Walt and pose for photos. This area is home to picturesque scenery, and is also the site of a new show: Forces of Nature. This show features 5 acrobats performing incredible stunts for 15 minutes that will delight guests. This show was originally going to end in June, but it was renewed through to September so be sure to see it while you can!
