DVC Villas
Disney’s Polynesnian Resort is currently home to deluxe DVC studio rooms with either a standard view or lake view, as well as private waterside bungalows. The Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Resort is expected to open in December of 2024 and will bring with it several additional DVC villa options. Polynesian’s deluxe studio rooms accommodate up to 5 adults, while the bungalows accommodate up to 8 adults. The bungalows are equipped with a private patio overlooking the water with a private dipping pool.
Dining
Ohana- This sit-down restaurant is a meat-lover’s paradise and features a family-style meal with tastes of Hawaii. Everyone is family here and guests love the lively atmosphere as well as the delicious Ohana noodles and various meats.
Kona Cafe– A great spot for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, Kona Cafe is a sit-down restaurant for casual dining. Asian-inspired foods as well as Hawaiian flavors combine to give guests a unique meal that they won’t forget.
Capt. Cook’s– If guests are in need of a quick-bite they can stop at Capt. Cook’s quick-service restaurant for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Serving American-style food as well as Hawaiian cuisine, Capt. Cook’s is a great spot for those in need of convenience.
Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto– This unique bar and lounge uses lighting and other special effects to coordinate with specialty drinks ordered, making for a unique tiki bar experience unlike anything you’ve ever seen.
Pineapple Lanai– The famous Dole Whip can be found at Disney’s Polynesian Resort, near the pool area at Pineapple Lanai. Dole Whip Floats with rum are also available.
Oasis Bar & Grill- This bar is located near Oasis Pool and serves cocktails, draft beer, wine, and small bites.
Tambu Lounge- Located inside The Great Ceremonial House, Tambu Lounge serves a variety of specialty alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages.
Barefoot Pool Bar– Next to the main pool you’ll find Barefoot Pool Bar, where guests can enjoy a variety of alcoholic beverages as well as burgers, chicken, and small plates.
Kona Island– Serving coffee and pastries in the morning and sushi in the evenings, Kona Island is a great place to stop for a quick snack.
Pools
The Lava Pool- The Polynesian’s main pool is the Lava Pool, featuring a volcano waterslide and splash play area for little kids, as well as a whirlpool spa.
Oasis Pool- For guests looking for a more laid-back experience, the Oasis Pool is a leisure pool with private shaded areas with chairs.
Entertainment
Other entertainment at Disney’s Polynesian Resort includes a viewing of the nightly Electrical Water Pageant, movies under the stars, campfire activities, motorized boat rentals, guided fishing excursions, and sandy beaches with hammocks.
