Disney Springs is like mixing fantasy with nightlife. The entire complex is filled with places to shop, dine, and play! Whether you’re a local or from out of town, Disney Springs has something for everyone. However, the abundance of choice can be overwhelming. How are you supposed to narrow down a place to have dinner when just about every restuarant there is the best of the best? Springs is divided into four sections. West Side, The Landings, Town Center, and the Marketplace, I’ll break down all four to make your next visit as stress free as possible, starting with the West Side
Town Center is the newest addition to Disney Springs. When Town Center opened, it ushered in a new era for the shopping district. Before Disney Springs, the shopping district was known as “Downtown Disney”. When the name change came in, so did Town Center, a new part of Disney Springs that includes more high end shopping options as well as some new additions in quick service dining. It is by far the most popular area, and you’ll see why in this article.
Dining
While primarily known for it’s shopping, we need to touch on the few dining experiences in Town Center, as they include some Disney Springs staples. The build your own pizza chain, Blaze Pizza, is always bustling. This is a go to choice if I’m not in the mood for a sit down meal. Blaze Pizza is always satisfying and built the way I want it to be… until they put peppers on my pizza because I forgot to ask for no peppers, but that’s more of a me problem! Across from Blaze is D-Luxe Burger. Disney Burgers, are usually a little lackluster when they come from a quick service. D-Luxe however is a quality quick service burger experience with some fun twists on your normal burger!
If the aroma of barbecue catches you by surprise, it’s likely coming from The Polite Pig! Sort of like a sister location to The Ravenous Pig, a restuarant of the same variety located in Winter Park, FL. Here you’ll find an assortment of dishes straight from the smoker, such as brisket, salmon, and of course pork. The Polite Pig also offers a range of adult beverages on tap to wash it all down.
You can not eat without dessert, especially at Disney Springs. In Town Center you have two great options for sweet treats, Sprinkles Cupcakes and Amorette’s Patisserie. As you can tell by the name, Sprinkles specializes in cupcakes as well as cakes, brownies, and ice cream. Sure you get money from an ATM but have you ever bought a cupcake from an ATM?! You can order from a list of cupcakes and it will be delivered to you via ATM! If you’re local or brough your furry friend on vacation with you, Sprinkles also offers pupcakes so they don’t feel left out on dessert time! Amorette’s offers artsy cakes and pastries usually themed to Disney characters! You can get a cute Mickey Mouse Petit Cake or choose from whatever seasonal offerings they have, which ranges from holidays, pride, or new Disney movie releases !
Shopping
Town Center is where a lot of the high end shopping comes in. I have friends who will go to Springs just to buy some makeup or get an outfit since everything is so close to each other here. An open air shopping mall with really any store you might need. You can pick up vacation clothes at Tommy Bahama, Sperry, or Ron Surf Shop. If you need a casual outfit Disney Springs also has a Levi’s and Uniqlo. Uniqlo is an affordable clothing store with items that are built to last. Some of the most comfortable and stylish pieces of my wardrobe come from Uniqlo! You can also find a lot of Disney related merchandise if the clothes Disney sells in it’s own gift shops isn’t your style.
One of my favorite stores here is Sugarboo & Co. This family owned gift shop has some of the CUTEST items in Disney Springs, like the extremely popular Jellycat plush toys. If you or someone in your family is a Swifitie, you’ll actually find a good amount fo cute Taylor Swift inspired pieces here, perfect for anyone in their Eras Era! As I mentioned earlier, you can buy makeup at Springs, as Town Center has it’s own Sephora, just in case you left any of you key routine items at home! While almost too many to name, you can also find a Fabletics, lululemon, and Kate Spade among the impressive lineup of stores here!
