EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays Starts November 27



Are you excited for the holiday season to begin? Get ready to take out your favorite festive Disney wear because it’s almost time to get in the holiday spirit with the Taste of Epcot International Festival of the Holidays presented by AdventHealth. You can look forward to celebrating this holiday season starting November 27th through December 30th, 2020. 

There’s a lot to look forward this year when it comes to delicious food, activities, and even appearances from your favorite Disney characters. You may be wondering what are the must do’s of Taste of Epcot International Festival of the Holidays. Here’s what’s in store for this festive Disney event.

Here’s what to expect:

Food

Make sure to come to Epcot’s International Festival of the Holidays with an empty stomach! You can expect Holiday Kitchen stands spread out around The World Showcase where you will find a wide variety of traditional holiday food from all around. If that’s not enough, you will find even more holiday delights inside the World ShowPlace Events Pavilion. 

Here, you’ll be able to enjoy meals, snacks and some delicious drinks such as hot chocolates and specialty cocktails. If you have a sweet tooth check out The Holiday Cookie Stroll and purchase a collecting cookie jar for five different holiday cookies. These will be available at the Holiday Markets. Once completing your stroll, you’ll receive a cookie upon completion!

Frozen Adventures

See Queen Anna & Olaf at EPCOT’s 2020 International Festival of the Holidays

Frozen fans will have a lot to look forward to while celebrating the season at Epcot. While walking around the World Showcase, you will be able to see Queen Elsa and Anna in the brand new “Frozen Holiday Promenade.” 

For more Frozen adventures, you can learn about holiday traditions from all over the world with the new “Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition.” Kids can participate in a hunt around the World Showcase to find hidden Olafs in different pavilions. Once you complete the quest you will get a prize! If you would like to participate in this brand new experience, visit Mouse Gear or Disney Traders of World Traveler at the International Gateway to purchase a map. 

Mickey, Friends, And Santa Claus Of Course!

See Mickey, Minnie, friends and Santa at EPCOT’s 2020 International Festival of the Holidays

As you make your way around Epcot, don’t forget to look for Santa Claus! He’ll be making his way around the World Showcase. Not only will Santa be spreading holiday cheer, but Mickey and pals will be coming around in their best holiday gear. Mickey and friends will be having their very own “Mickey and Friends Holiday World Tour.” After seeing your favorite Disney friends, you can expect many live music performances such as Voices of Liberty and more all throughout Epcot. 

There’s so much to look forward to this holiday season at EPCOT that it would be hard to think of where to start first. Planning multiple visits to EPCOT during your vacation would be the best way to conquer everything this holiday season has to offer. Additional seasonal offerings will be coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, and Magic Kingdom beginning November 6, 2020.
