Disney Foodies are in delight, the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival will begin on July 15th, giving Disney just 10 days to switch over from the Flower & Garden Festival that ends on July 5th. Some classic favorites from this festival will be back in the World Showcase, as well as some new items to taste and enjoy. This festival is scheduled to run through November 20th, so guests will have months of opportunity to enjoy everything.
The Global Marketplaces will be starting off the event this year. Guests can look forward to the return of Hops and Barley, Appleseed Orchard, Greece, Germany, and more. These Marketplaces will have an assortment of dishes featuring cuisine from all over the world. With the large variety of choices, there will be something that everyone can enjoy.
In addition to the Global Marketplaces, the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival will also have a variety of activities for guests to participate in, such as:
Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak
A Remy statue scavenger hunt around Disney’s EPCOT theme park, fun for all ages!
Emile’s Fromage Montage
Collect five stamps by sampling cheeses from five different Global Marketplaces for a prize.
Musical Performances
Performances by Jammin’ Chefs, Mariachi Corbett, and Voices of Liberty
Guests will also have the opportunity to purchase festival merchandise as the perfect souvenir. New offerings will include a spirit jersey and a baseball cap.
The Epcot festivals are always an extravagant event that is fun for guests of all ages and this one is no different.
