Epcot Begins Testing Harmonious

Harmonious at Epcot

Those who have been watching the construction on the World Showcase Lagoon will be excited to hear that Epcot has begun testing Harmonious.

The Harmonious show in Epcot is slated to be one of the most extravagant nighttime spectaculars that Disney has ever created. When completed the barge will feature innovative technology including LED light panels, lasers, water spectaculars, and pyrotechnics. Although Disney has not yet released a date on when guests will be able to witness Harmonious in its full glory, some guests have already seen parts of it being tested in Epcot.

The rotating arms that will spray water were being tested last week, featuring incredible water displays that wowed guests lucky enough to be there. In addition to the rotating arm, the large center ring has been placed in the lagoon as well. This barge will feature lights and a water curtain but does not appear to be at the point for testing yet.

At this stage in development, other pieces of this barge are being added all the time and things are constantly changing in the World Showcase Lagoon. Every day there is work being done on this new attraction.

Have you seen the barge in Epcot? Were you there to witness the testing of Harmonious? When do you think the newest nighttime spectacular will be ready for everyone to view? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
