Walt Disney World is preparing for the arrival of Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge by confirming the new hotel will participate in several standard resort perks. Guests booked at the upcoming property will receive complimentary water park admission on their arrival day during the summer season, alongside additional theme park access benefits.
Complimentary Water Park Admission on Check-In Day

According to an update on the official Walt Disney World website, Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge has been added to the list of eligible hotels for the Summer 2027 free water park benefit. When the resort opens on July 1, 2027, registered guests will be able to visit either Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon or Disney’s Blizzard Beach at no additional charge on the day they check in.
While Disney has not yet published the exact start and end dates for the 2027 seasonal perk, the 2026 promotion was announced in January and ran from May 26 through September 8. A similar late-May to early-September window is expected for the 2027 season, aligning with the July opening of the lodge.
Early Entry and Extended Evening Hours

In addition to the water park offer, Disney previously confirmed that Lakeshore Lodge guests will qualify for both Early Theme Park Entry and Extended Evening Theme Park Hours. These operational perks provide extra time inside the theme parks for on-site visitors who hold valid theme park admission.
Early Theme Park Entry lets registered resort guests enter any of the four Walt Disney World theme parks 30 minutes prior to the posted opening time every day, including both check-in and check-out days. Extended Evening Theme Park Hours are reserved for guests staying at Disney Deluxe Resorts, Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts, and select partner properties.
This benefit offers extra time inside specific theme parks on scheduled nights. Visitors planning to use evening hours should consult the official Walt Disney World calendar for participating parks and dates.
What to Expect at Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge

Situated along the shores of Bay Lake within the Magic Kingdom Resort Area, Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge is designed around nature-focused storytelling. The property incorporates visual elements and motifs from animated films such as Bambi, Brother Bear, Encanto, and Pocahontas.

Accommodations at the resort will range from standard resort studios and multi-bedroom villas to standalone lake houses. Planned recreational and dining amenities include multiple restaurants, resort pools, a lazy river, outdoor activities, and direct water taxi service to Magic Kingdom. Guests visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios ahead of the July 2027 opening can currently view a scale model of the resort inside the Walt Disney Presents attraction.
Planning Ahead for 2027 Stays
With the inclusion of check-in day water park access and extended theme park hours, Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge offers the full suite of Deluxe Villa resort perks from opening day. Travelers planning a summer 2027 vacation at the new Bay Lake property can factor these arrival-day and late-night benefits into their itineraries as booking windows open.
