Disney’s Aulani Resort and Spa will be bringing back character dining! Guests visiting this Disney property will soon be able to enjoy seeing the characters while having a delicious breakfast at Makahiki Restaurant.

The Makahiki Restaurant is scheduled to reopen Friday, May 7th. Guests can begin making reservations for this character dining experience on April 26th. Reservations will not be able to be made online at this time. Instead guests will book their character breakfast by calling (808) 674-6200.

Characters at the Makahiki Restaurant breakfast will include Mickey and friends, as well as Aunty and Uncle. Guests will enjoy a socially distanced meeting of the characters while watching them dance around and putting on a fun show.

Makahiki Restaurant will be serving a beautiful three-course Hawaiian breakfast. Guests can look forward to favorites such as:

  • Hawaiian Loco Moco with Hamburger Steak
  • Macadamia Nut Pancakes
  • Mickey and Minnie Waffles
  • Fresh Fruit
  • Pastries

Although the restaurant will be open for breakfast everyday, character breakfast will only be available Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays. In addition, only resort guests will be able to book character dining at this time. This will be the case throughout all of May.

As always Disney is taking every health and safety measure possible to ensure the health and safety of guests and Cast Members.
