Disneyland’s Pixar Place Hotel Is Now Open

Pixar Place Hotel is now open! Pixar Place Hotel is the formerly known Paradise Pier Hotel located at The Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California. This huge renovation was first announced back in 2022. Pixar Place hotel is the first hotel in the United States to be fully Pixar-Themed. Pixar is known for its brightly colored animation as well as story-telling. Disney Imagineering has made those stories come to life  with creating a truly immersive experience for guests of the newly-themed resort.

Bringing Pixar Films to Life

The 479-room hotel is filled with nods from every single Pixar Film created to this day! Everywhere from the lobby, to the newly-renovated rooms and even the roof top, you’ll find brightly colored artwork, murals and decor that represent Pixar and the beloved films. Pixar and Disney Imagining really brought these films to life in a vibrant and brand new way for their guests with many sights to see, foods to eat and Pixar characters to meet.

Brand New Pixar Character Meet & Greets

Pixar Place Hotel is bringing these stories to life with brand new characters you can only meet here! Bing Bong from the film “Inside Out” is making his first ever Debut! Make core memories with the imaginary friend located on the third floor, the rooftop of Pixar Place hotel. You may also meet Joe Gardner from the Disney Pixar film “Soul!” as he plays Piano in the Pixar Place Lobby near the staircase.

Pixar-Themed Sights and Spaces

The Very Famous Pixar Ball and Lamp can now be found in the Pixar Place Lobby welcoming guests as they come through the front entrance of the hotel. Surrounding The Iconic Pixar Ball and Lamp are a variety of abstract mobile Pixar Characters such as Sully and Boo from “Monsters Inc.” and Marlin, Dory and Nemo from “Finding Nemo.”

Guests can head to the pool area and take a swim in the new Pixel Pool and splash in the all new Finding Nemo themed splash pad called Nemo’s Cove! Complete with a large water slide called Crush’s Surfin’ Slide. Cabanas and daybeds are available for guests to rent as they lounge around creating memories in this all new Pixar themed space.

Head to the third-floor rooftop deck and check out the all-new Pixar Shorts Court. A place where family and friends can play games inspired by some of Pixar’s very own Pixar short films “Bao,” “For The Birds,” “La Luna,” and “Burrow.”

All-New Eateries

The Great Maple

The Great Maple is a modern American Dining Restaurant that will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. This eatery has a sophisticated vibe with leather seating and black and white portraits of Pixar Characters that were specifically created for the Pixar offices located in Emeryville, California. All of the food and beverages options offered at the hotel are operated and created by The Great Maple. Reservations are highly recommended.

The Sketch Pad Café

The Sketch Pad Café is located right off the lobby. This is the perfect place to grab a quick bite to eat before heading into a day at the parks! The café has easy grab and go items, pastries, sandwiches, espresso bar and more!

Small Bytes

Small Bytes, opening in early march will be located on the rooftop deck near the Pixar Short Courts. This new eatery will serve creative and easy “bytes” like ceviche, nachos and soft pretzels. Decorated to perfection with a pixel style art with portraits of 22 different Pixar Characters. Small Bytes will be open to non-hotel guests as well, be sure to stop by and grab a byte!

Creators Club

The Creators Club is a brand new lounge opening in the Pixar Place Hotel later this year! The lounge will be exclusive to guests on the concierge level. The lounge will feature repurposed light fixtures from the once “a bug’s land” in Disney California Adventure Park, attraction posters will be hung throughout the lounge and there is Snake ride vehicle from the attraction “Jessie’s Critter Carousel.” Special Pixar touches and Disney Park memorabilia makes this lounge unique and a space Concierge level guests will enjoy, they are welcome to stop in throughout the day for snacks and beverages

Pixar Guests rooms

Guests will be delighted as the world of Pixar Animation continues all the way to their room! Rooms are decorated with Pixar accent pillows, framed character art, wall murals, a working Pixar lamp, as well as Pixar Ball Motifs placed throughout guests quarters. Homage to almost all Pixar films can be found.
