Disney World Attractions To Revisit At Night

Spaceship Earth at night

Do you like to stay at the Disney parks from open to close? With the Disney parks being open for most of the day and into the night, there are sometimes different experiences to be had depending on what time of day you visit attractions. Staying at the parks until they close can have several advantages for guests. You can experience lower wait times into the evening and lesser crowds. There’s also select nighttime entertainment to be enjoyed like Magic Kingdom’s Happily Ever After fireworks show. With some attractions, the nighttime ambience adds something special to the experience. If you plan on staying in the parks late then here are some attractions you must revisit at night.

Swiss Family Treehouse at Magic Kingdom

This underrated Disney attraction is located in Adventureland within Magic Kingdom. The Swiss Family Treehouse is a walkthrough attraction during which guests can explore a replica of the treehouse as it appears in the classic Disney film: The Swiss Family Robinson. This attraction uniquely allows guests to ascend staircases into a large tree and view bedrooms and other living quarters that the family created. Experiencing this attraction during the day allows guests to see the scenery clearly, but revisiting at night is a must if you enjoy this attraction. The ambiance of nighttime in the treehouse brings a new sense of adventure. There is also an incredible view at the top of the attraction overlooking Tomorrowland, and seeing it lit up for nighttime is something that shouldn’t be missed!

Pandora- World of Avatar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

There aren’t many opportunities for guests to see Pandora- World of Avatar at night due to Animal Kingdom typically closing before sunset, but if guests have the opportunity to visit the park at night through an after hours event or extended evening hours then they should definitely take advantage! Pandora comes alive at night with glowing plants, paths, and other stunning lighting effects. Visiting during the day is magical, but visiting at night definitely takes this area to a new level.

Tower of Terror at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Hollywood Studios is home to the Twilight Zone: Tower of Terror. If you think this attraction is terrifying during the day then you must return at night if you dare. When you ascend to the top of the tower and the doors open, you’ll peer outside to be greeted with darkness. You’ll also catch some great outside views of the park from above as well!
