Get ready to explore a new side of Disney! The Walt Disney World Resort and Disney Vacation Club have unveiled their new plans for the Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, offering DVC members an eco-friendly and dog-friendly retreat in the midst of nature.

The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort – A Disney Vacation Club Resort is expected to be opening sometime in 2024 and would be christened as the 17th Disney Vacation Club resort.
For more than 50 years, Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground has offered guests the opportunity to explore nature with their loved ones while staying in the heart of Walt Disney World Resort. We’re excited to continue to build upon the resort’s rich legacy and elevate the cabin experience for our Members and all guests to enjoy for years to come.

With over 350 refreshed cabins, DVC members will be able to experience some much-needed relaxation while never missing out on Disney’s enchanting magic. Each cabin offers a great balance between indoor coziness and outdoor adventure. Inside you’ll find spacious accommodations that sleep up to six adults, complete with a bedroom, bathroom, living room, full kitchen and private patio.
These new DVC cabins are set to become part of a collection of improvement projects underway at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground that are designed to enhance guest experience with pool and walking trail enhancements along with delicious expanded dining experiences. Plus, boat rides to and from Magic Kingdom means you can easily hop around other theme parks during your visit.
A Plethora Of Outdoor Activities To Enjoy
Outdoors there are plenty of activities waiting to be explored such as horseback riding at the recently updated Tri-Circle-D Ranch, the down-home musical entertainment of Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue, fishing, walking trails, pools, playgrounds for the little ones and much more. Plus dining options from Trail’s End Restaurant to Crockett’s Tavern are all part of the fun!
