Disney Vacation Club Direct Prices Set To Increase

Disney Vacation Club Sign in Tomorrowland

The DVC resale market is about to become more in demand than ever. Disney Vacation Club direct sale prices are set to increase even more. Four Disney properties have already increased their direct pricing, with two more to increase their direct point price in the beginning of February.

On January 20th, 2022 the following DVC resorts increased their direct price.

Resort Name Previous Direct Price New Direct Price Increase Amount
Beach Club Villas $245 $265 $20
BoardWalk Villas $210 $230 $20
Hilton Head $140 $155 $15
Vero Beach $125 $140 $15

Although it is common for Disney Vacation Club resorts to increase their point price yearly, this marks the second time in the last year that both Hilton Head and Vero Beach have increased their direct sale price.

As you can see from the chart above, the increase amount is relatively high as well, with an increase of $15 to $20 per point. Depending on the contract, this could equal thousands of extra dollars that would be better spent in the parks themselves.

Two other resorts will be increasing their direct prices on Thursday, February 3rd, 2022. Let’s take a look at the chart below.

Resort Name Previous Direct Price New Direct Price Increase Amount
Riviera  $201 $207 $6
Aulani  $201 $207 $6

Both Riviera and Aulani appear to be more conservative in their direct price increase. The increase of $6 per point is close to the standard yearly cost increase that Disney usually implements for their resorts.

Buying your DVC points direct from Disney can cost much more than purchasing on the resale market. Some of the contracts from DVC Shop can save you more than a third of that direct purchase price.
