More changes are happening at Walt Disney World everyday, and this is the latest. Disney has updated their policy regarding Cast Members taking guests’ photos!
Since Walt Disney World reopened, guests have been able to utilize PhotoPass photographers to take their pictures at designated locations in the parks. However, other Cast Members were not allowed to take pictures for guests using their mobile devices last year and throughout this year, until now!
As of this morning Cast Members are able to use guests’ devices to take pictures at their request, if they are available to do it, of course. It appears that things are slowly but surely getting back to normal.
Other examples of normalcy in the Walt Disney World parks include:
- Cast Members and guests who are fully vaccinated no longer are required to wear face coverings.
- The upcoming return of firework shows.
- Rides are being loaded to full capacity.
- No more 6 feet of social distancing.
Many guests are thrilled to once again be able to ask Cast Members to take their pictures for them, and the Cast Members usually have no issues with doing it either. This has always been a great way for guests to get a family or solo photo, without having to pay for the Memory Maker Photo Package.
