Overview
Dawa Bar is such a great find for those looking to relax, take a load off, and enjoy a drink in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Dawa Bar is located in Harambe, and is right next to the check in for Tusker House Restaurant. There is a ton of bar table seating available under the overhang of Dawa Bar, giving guests a spot to wait for their dining reservation, Lightning Lane return time, or just to relax. This area not only has shade, but it also has a ton of fans, providing a little bit of relief from the Florida heat. The Dawa Bar has a great casual vibe to it, and even though the menu is exclusively for those over the age of 21, the seating area is friendly for all ages. You’ll often see parents enjoying a drink with their little ones still in the strollers.
Dawa Bar has a full bar available, so guests can choose whatever their heart desires, but they also offer numerous specialty cocktails, wines, and specialty beer. For those looking to enjoy a little taste of Tusker House Restaurant without having to do the sit down dining, enjoy a Ngumu Jungle Juice. This drink is a spiked version of Tusker House’s Jungle Juice and it is amazing!
The specialty cocktails are strong, so you definitely get your money’s worth, but they are not over-powering.
The location of Dawa Bar cannot be beat. The Dawa Bar is right in the center of Africa, and guests sitting in the Dawa Bar will have a view of some of Africa’s entertainment, such as the Tam Tam Drummers of Harambe. It is also conveniently located close to attractions such as the Kilimanjaro Safaris and the Harambe Theater where guests can see the “Festival of the Lion King” show.
This dining location is a great stop for those looking to imbibe during their day in Animal Kingdom, you won’t want to miss it!
