In a few weeks, on December 8th, 2022, some changes to how 1-day Disney World park tickets work, will be taking effect. The biggest change is that the prices for these tickets will be increasing, and prices of tickets will become park-specific. If you’re planning on visiting Disney World in the near future, it’s important to buy your tickets before this date to get the best price possible, but read on to see some of the other interesting changes that may make planning your trip a little more simple.
Park-Specific Pricing & Price Increases
With the new park-specific pricing, Magic Kingdom Park will be priced at or above our other theme parks due to the incredible demand, as it remains the most-visited theme park in the world.
A 1-day ticket for a specific date and park will range from:
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom: $109-$159 (same range as today)
- Disney’s Hollywood Studios: $124-$179
- EPCOT: $114-$179
- Magic Kingdom Park: $124-$189
Automatic Park Pass Reservations
Starting on December 8th, 2022, guests who purchase a 1-day ticket for a specific date and theme park will have a park pass reservation automatically made on their behalf. This change will make for one less thing to think about for those who are unfamiliar with the park pass reservation system.
This change only applies to guests who purchase 1-day tickets for a specific date and theme park. Most guests will continue to use the park pass reservation system to reserve their park passes after purchasing their tickets or passes.

Park Hopper Add-On
Both Park Hopper and Park Hopper Plus add-on options will also be updated on December 8th, 2022, but we have not heard official word regarding the exact changes that will be taking place.
As of right now, 1-day Park Hopper tickets cost $65 per ticket, and 1-day Park Hopper Plus tickets cost $85 per ticket. We expect that there could be a price increase for both of these options, given that the 1-day park specific prices are increasing.
Now Is The Best Time To Buy Your Tickets!
If you’re planning on visiting multiple parks in one day, we recommend purchasing your tickets before December 8th, 2022, to get the best price possible.
