Disney has announced that the Candlelight Processional is returning to Epcot on November 26th to celebrate this holiday season! The Candlelight Processional will once again be included as part of the International Festival of Holidays and will run from November 26th to December 30th.
Disney’s official statement on the return of the Candlelight Processional is as followed:
Candlelight Processional” is a long-standing Disney Parks tradition, dating back to 1958 at Disneyland park. Walt Disney World guests have enjoyed the annual “Candlelight Processional” since 1971, initially at Magic Kingdom Park and since 1994 at EPCOT. After being greatly missed during last year’s holiday season, this magnificent production will once again grace the America Gardens Theatre with a live orchestra, cast choir, and celebrity narrator retelling the traditional Christmas story in spectacular and heartwarming fashion.
Typically the Candlelight Processional includes special dining packages, as well as appearances from celebrity guests. Although information on these features has not yet been revealed, Disney states that more information on these will be released soon.
Due to COVID protocols last year, the Candlelight Processional was not able to be included in the International Festival of Holidays. Now that it is returning, guests will be able to enjoy this beautiful show as part of the holiday festivities in Epcot once again.
