Disney’s Boardwalk is the perfect combination of a deluxe resort and a place for entertainment and fun. Disney’s Boardwalk is reminiscent of an Atlantic-style boardwalk like one you might find in New England. The BoardWalk has food stands, restaurants, live entertainment, and more. Guests can walk here from EPCOT after exiting the park through the International Gateway, or after stepping off the Skyliner. Guests can also use boat transportation from Disney’s Hollywood Studios to access the BoardWalk. One of the BoardWalk’s newest additions is the Cake Bake Shop Bakery. This cute bakery sparkles with glitter and cutesy decor. We gave it a try over the summer and absolutely loved everything about it.
The Shop, The Food, and Beverages
We traveled to the BoardWalk by taking a bus to Hollywood Studios and then taking the Skyliner to EPCOT to access the walking path to the resort. After a short walk we arrived and immediately found the bakery at the end of the BoardWalk. When we got there it was around 10:30am and there was no line. When you enter the shop you are handed a menu where you can browse the treats, goodies, and drinks that are available to order. The entire shop is decorated in an elegant way, covered in glitter and pink. Some breakfast items like croissants, chocolate-dipped croissants, blueberry crumb cake, granola and yogurt, and Belgian waffles are available. Other treats like cookies, cookie bars, lemon bars, brownies, fudge, macarons, truffles, and even ice cream are also handmade and available.

My favorite thing about this bakery is that everything was dusted in edible glitter. I felt in tune with my inner-child like I was walking through a magical bakery.

The Cake Bake Shop Bakery also offers specialty beverages like lemonade, and Pink Princess which is lemon-lime soda and grenadine. Hot chocolate and hot teas are also available here, including Unicorn Hot Chocolate which comes with whipped cream and confetti sprinkles. The coffee options here are great, with iced and hot lattes and coffees served with a variety of syrups and milk alternatives. You can customize your coffee to your liking. Cake Bake Shop Bakery even serves a specialty beer called the Raspberry Sparkling Cake Ale, champagnes and wines, and signature cocktails.
Our Thoughts
When we visited the bakery we ordered a slice of Cookie Dough Cake and it was incredible. Vanilla cake was layered between chocolate ganache, buttercream frosting, and gooey cookie dough. Be warned that it will melt quickly in the Florida sun, so it’s best to enjoy right away.

We also grabbed an iced latte with raspberry and rose syrup made with oat milk. We ordered a large and were satisfied with the amount we received as well as the taste.

Overall Experience
Everything we ordered tasted great and we wished we could have sampled more of the menu. The price was a bit on the higher side, but we truly felt like we couldn’t replicate what we received anywhere else in the parks. By the time we finished our cake and coffee our hands were covered in glitter. It washed off easily and didn’t stick around, but if you aren’t a glitter fan you might want to be prepared to have it on your body and clothes. We didn’t have any issue with crowds or lines for the bakery, and we were able to easily find a table right outside to sit and enjoy our treat. Overall, we had a great experience here and we would go again!
