Guests over the age of 21 will be glad to hear that the Blue Bayou Restaurant in Disneyland will offer adult beverages at reopening. This will be the second location in Disneyland to offer alcohol. Prior to the coronavirus closures, adult guests had been asking Disney to bring more alcoholic beverage options to the Disneyland park, and they have obliged. The Blue Bayou Restaurant will join Oga’s Canteen as the only public locations to serve adult beverages.
The Blue Bayou Restaurant is located inside of the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction nestled in New Orleans Square. Disney states that the new food and beverage menu will fit right in with the theme and storyline of the Blue Bayou Restaurant that guests have come to know and love of this Disney dining classic.
The new drink menu will include items such as:
- Specialty Hurricane Cocktail
- Celebratory Sparkling Wine Package
- Seasonal Non-alcoholic Mint Julep
Blue Bayou Restaurant has been a Disneyland dining staple since its opening in 1967. Although there is no official reopening date yet for the restaurant, Disneyland will reopen on April 30. Hopefully, this dining location will open up the same day, or soon after.
