For anyone planning a Magic Kingdom day, this means Storybook Circus is once again close to full operation. If you visited during the closure and found the tent walled off, you will notice a clear difference on your next trip.
What Changed Inside and Out
The refurbishment brought several visible updates. The most noticeable is the new, vibrant circus tent exterior, which gives the building a refreshed presence at the entrance to Storybook Circus.
Inside, the flooring has been restored to its original circus motif. In recent years, the shop carried a plain gray carpet that was installed following a flood and fire in early 2020. That modern carpet felt out of place, so returning to the themed flooring helps the space feel more cohesive with its surroundings.
Another practical improvement is the addition of tables and chairs inside. While outdoor seating has always been available, the new indoor option gives guests a comfortable place to enjoy a treat out of the Florida heat and rain.

Freshly made and one of the first things you notice when stepping into the tent. Big Top is one of only two spots at Walt Disney World where you can get it, with the other being Germany in EPCOT.
Longtime fans will be glad to see familiar items back on the menu. The lineup includes the oversized Mickey chocolate chip cookie, Mickey and Minnie cupcakes, and assorted fudge. During the fall, you can also find the seasonal Werther’s Original Pumpkin Butter Bar.
One returning highlight is the freshly made Werther’s Original Caramel Popcorn, priced at $7.99. The smell of the buttery popcorn greets you as soon as you step into the tent. Notably, Big Top is one of only two spots at Walt Disney World where you can get it, with the other being Germany in EPCOT.
Goofy’s Glaciers
Big Top is also one of just two places at the resort that sells Goofy’s Glaciers, Disney’s take on an ICEE. The only other location is Goofy’s Candy Company at Disney Springs.

There is also a FuelRod machine on site for charging on the go. Big Top doubles as the exit to Pete’s Silly Sideshow, the Storybook Circus meet and greet home to Goofy, Donald, Minnie, and Daisy.
