Disney World vacations are known to be busy and full of activity, but thanks to DVC resorts they can be full of rest and relaxation as well. DVC resorts make it easy to relax with their luxury pools and recreational activities like tennis courts, walking paths, and bike rentals. DVC resorts have some of the best pools on property with many guests choosing to dedicate an entire day to relaxing by the pool. For grown-ups who are visiting, there are often pool bars available for the best poolside drinks, treats, and small plates. Barefoot Pool Bar at Disney’s Polynesian Resort
Not only does Disney’s Polynesian Resort have an incredible pool, but they also have a great pool bar with Barefoot Pool Bar. Located at the main pool, this pool bar is near the incredible volcano water slide feature. Barefoot Pool Bar serves great food that you can’t find anywhere else like Korean BBQ Wings, Black Pepper-Parmesan Chicken Wings, Grilled Fish Tacos, and so much more. Non-alcoholic specialties like the Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride are also popular here, which consists of Pineapple Juice and White Cranberry Juice with a splash of Blue Curaçao Syrup and topped with a Flower. Classic pool cocktails and other delicious drinks are also served.
Gurgling Suitcase at Old Key West Resort
Old Key West Resort is an incredibly laid-back resort where guests can get a taste of the Florida keys. Just outside of the main pool is where you’ll find Gurgling Suitcase. This pool bar serves yummy appetizers, the most popular being the Conch Fritters served with Key Lime Mustard. Other tastes of the keys can be found here like Hushpuppies, and of course specialty cocktails are always a treat.
Bar Riva at Disney’s Riviera Resort
Bar Riva is located at Disney’s Riviera Resort pool, and this pool bar is great for one reason: the amount of options for food! Guests can enjoy sharables like chilled shrimp and charcuterie, or they can indulge in an entree like the Signature Burger or Seasonal Pizza. This pool bar is great for families because of its food options and sharable portions. You can even get a fresh dessert here with the Riviera Cookie Skillet which is topped with Pistachio Gelato.
Leaping Horse Libations at Disney’s Boardwalk Resort
Disney’s Boardwalk Resort has a pool that many guests consider to be their favorite on property. With a twisting waterslide resembling a boardwalk roller coaster, this pool definitely takes theming to a new level. With Leaping Horse Liberations, guests can enjoy plenty of food and drinks while they play in the pool. Guests can enjoy hot and cold sandwiches alongside specialty cocktails. The classic Mickey pretzel with cheese is served here as well.
