Disney fireworks shows are the highlight of the night for many Disney guests. When your day at the parks is so long and begins at morning rope drop, it can be hard to last until the fireworks at night. But did you know that staying in the parks isn’t the only option for fireworks viewing at Disney World? There are many other ways you can view fireworks including restaurants at resorts, and other areas within the resorts themselves. Continue reading to learn all about the best DVC resorts for watching park fireworks without a ticket.
Disney’s Contemporary Resort
This resort is extremely close to Magic Kingdom and just a monorail ride away. It’s the perfect place to retreat from the busy park and relax indoors with air-conditioning and no crowds. There are a few different places throughout this resort where you can view the fireworks: the sky bridge connecting Bay Lake Tower and the main building, a viewing deck off the main building, and from the California Grill Restaurant. Dining at California Grill arguably gives you the best view of the fireworks outside of the park. You can either view from your table with the large windows overlooking the park, or from their own private viewing deck that you can access just by having a reservation (even if it was earlier in the day!).

Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort
Another resort off the monorail loop near Magic Kingdom is Disney’s Grand Floridian. Here you can view the fireworks from any lakeside beach, the ferry dock, or with reservations at Narcoossee’s. Narcoossee’s restaurant is right on the water and has the perfect view for the fireworks.

Disney’s Polynesian Resort
Disney’s Polynesian Resort has several beaches where you can catch a view of Magic Kingdom’s fireworks, but the best viewing will come from Ohana restaurant. This restaurant has large windows overlooking the lake and a great view of Happily Ever After. The lights will dim at the restaurant and the music will be played through the speakers. It’s a great opportunity to view the fireworks from afar while enjoying a delicious meal of Hawaiian-inspired cuisine.

Disney’s Riviera Resort
Magic Kingdom isn’t the only park that has nightly fireworks. EPCOT has a nightly show as well called Luminous: The Symphony of Us. This show can be viewed from EPCOT area resorts like Disney’s Riviera Resort. Topolino’s Terrace is the perfect place to view this show with their rooftop dining.

Disney’s Boardwalk Resort
Another EPCOT area resort where you can catch a glimpse of the fireworks is Disney’s Boardwalk Resort. On the bridge that connects this resort to EPCOT you can catch a viewing of Luminous: The Symphony of Us. The view is partially obstructed, but it’s still a great opportunity to see the fireworks without a park ticket.
