One of Disney’s Hollywood Studios’s most popular performances is making a step towards returning! Beauty and the Beast – Live on Stage is now casting for its return.
Casting at this time is internal, and is for off-stage roles. Although these new casting calls point to the show gearing up for a come back, it can occasionally take months for the big debut. Chances are the show will not be available this summer, but maybe they are hoping to debut on a more significant date, possibly over the course of Disney’s 50th anniversary celebration that is quickly approaching.
This upcoming November may be the time to look out for, as it will be the 30th anniversary of this attraction. Beauty and the Beast – Live on Stage premiered at the Theater of the Stars on Sunset Boulevard on November 22, 1991.
While this attraction has been closed, the stage area was being used as overflow dining for guests in the parks. This is certainly not what Disney fans think of when wishing Belle and the Beast would ask them to “be our guest”. Regardless, Disney is making progress on this show, and guests will be able to enjoy it again soon.
