Attractions With No Height Requirement At Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon

Typhoon Lagoon

Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon waterpark takes all the fun and thrill of a traditional waterpark and all of the family accommodations of a Disney park. Typhoon Lagoon is a tropical oasis where guests can find shipwrecks, adventure, and good old-fashioned water fun. If you are taking your family to Typhoon Lagoon or are traveling with people of all ages and heights, you will find many attractions that your entire party can enjoy together. Here are attractions with no height requirement at Typhoon Lagoon.

Castaway Creek

This lazy river-style attraction will entertain guests of all heights. Guests can go with the flow as they lounge on their inner tube and enjoy the sights and scenery of Castaway Creek. Guests can expect waterfalls, lush rainforest landscaping, grottos, and mists throughout their lazy river journey. There are 5 landings throughout the attraction and guests can enter or exit as they please.

Miss Adventure Falls

Another family raft attraction, Miss Adventure Falls is a 4-person raft ride through a white-water voyage. This attraction is unique because of its conveyer belt that accelerates you through the slide. Guests who enjoy spotting details will find artifacts collected throughout the world, left behind by Captain Mary Oceaneer whose ship was caught in a typhoon years ago. Guests might even be able to spot a talking parrot during this daring journey through the falls.

Storm Slides

Guests of all heights can enjoy one of the three slides at Storm Slides. Jib Jammer, Stern Burner, and Rudder Buster are the three Storm Slides of Typhoon Lagoon. These body slides will have you twisting, turning, and then shocked as you drop out of a 3-story high waterfall.

Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool

One of Typhoon Lagoon’s signature attractions is the Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool. For guests of all heights and ages, this wave pool features segments of waves that begin small and end large and rough. Every once in a while, a massive 6-foot wave takes over the pool. While this attraction is for guests of all ages, it is recommended that guests are strong swimmers, and those who aren’t should be watched carefully. Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool is also home to special private events like surf parties, and surf lessons.
