One of the best kid friendly attractions is back at the Walt Disney World parks. Animal Kingdom’s Boneyard Playground has officially reopened! According to Disney, the Boneyard Playground is currently open from 9:00 AM to park close.
The Boneyard Playground has traditionally been one of the highlights for younger children in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. It is described on the Disney website as a “prehistoric marvel”. Children ages 10 and younger will have a blast, climbing and sliding on the play structure. When they are done, children can enjoy the dig site, where they will excavate fossils from a Triceratops and a huge Tyrannosaurus Rex. While the kids are having the time of their lives play archaeologists and paleontologists, parents will enjoy a much deserved break in the shaded seating area surrounded by huge fans to keep them cool.
This attraction closed with the rest of the Disney parks in March of 2020, but did not reopen in July when the rest of the park did, due to being a high touch area. However, now things in the Disney theme parks are returning closer to normal, and the Boneyard Playground is back to wow Disney’s young guests again.
