Disney’s Animal Kingdom is a park that is home to some incredible animals and some incredible attractions and shows. Guests who are interested in experiencing sit-down dining during their vacation, or guests who are utilizing the Disney Dining Plan during their stay, will be pleased to find that each Disney park offers great table-service dining options. There are several restaurants throughout Animal Kingdom. Let’s explore all table-service dining options at Animal Kingdom together.
Tiffins Restaurant
Located in Discovery Island, Tiffins Restaurant serves unique dishes from all corners of the world. Guests dine in halls that resemble Africa and Asia. Exotic animals are celebrated through the decor and artwork seen throughout. For guests using the Disney Dining Plan, 2 credits will be used when dining at Tiffins Restaurant. Guests can enjoy exotic menu items like Charred Octopus, and main dishes like Oaxacan Pork.
Rainforest Cafe
This Rainforest Cafe located right at the entrance of Animal Kingdom is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Guests dine in the iconic rainforest dining room filled with animals and other scenery. Occasionally, a thunderstorm happens and the animals go wild. Guests enjoy giant entrees that could feed an elephant like burgers, tacos, chicken, and other plates. Rainforest Cafe also contains a gift shop for guests to browse for exclusive souvenirs related to the restaurant. Guests who are arriving for their meal prior to entering the park can utilize the special park entrance that this restaurant provides as well. If guests wish to dine at Rainforest Cafe but aren’t visiting Animal Kingdom they should be aware that another Rainforest Cafe is located at Disney Springs.
Tusker House Restaurant
This character buffet is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Donald Duck and some of his friends join you in their safari gear as you dine. For breakfast, guests can enjoy a variety of pastries like Zebra Coffee Cake and Guava Cream Cheese Danishes, as well as breakfast classics like Mickey waffles and eggs. For lunch and dinner, a variety of breads and dips are served, as well as salads, Tandoori Chicken, and Green Curry Shrimp. Nature-inspired desserts like Baby Flamingo Cupcakes, Baby Bee Cupcakes, and Chocolate Zebra Cookies are served. Donald Duck and his friends appear during breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Yak & Yeti Restaurant
This Nepalese-style restaurant serves pan-Asian cuisine. Decorated to look like village home, Yak & Yeti showcases artifacts as well as delicious food. A marketplace is located nearby the restaurant so guests can purchase regional items like incense, teapots, and silk. Meals at Yak & Yeti consist of Ahi Tuna Nachos, Korean Fried Chicken, Lo Mein, Thai Basil Chicken, Korean Beef, and so much more. For dessert, guests can enjoy Fried Wontons, Mango Pie, and Pineapple Upside Down Cake.
