Disney has announced that AdventHealth will be expanding their healthcare services to Walt Disney World guests. AdventHealth World of Wellness will be of service to guests of the Walt Disney World theme parks and resorts by providing ER and Urgent Care facilities. These facilities will be located at the Flamingo Crossings Town Center.
For those who do not require urgent medical assistance, AdventHealth will still be there to assist. Guests will be able to login to their My Disney Experience App to access virtual care from AdventHealth as well. One of the services that will be accessible on the app will be AdventHealth’s care concierge and vacation planning. This service will provide assistance to guests with special needs or specific personal care considerations in the following ways:
- Virtual care
- Doctor’s appointments
- Medical equipment delivery
- Prescription delivery
With the extra services and new facilities, guests with pre existing conditions can be sure to make the most out of their vacations with no worry, and those who require unexpected care can rest assured that they will be taken care of.
Disney also plans to bring new updates and improvements to the Walt Disney Pavilion at AdventHealth for Children that will make health care even more warm and welcome for patients.
