A Complete Dining Guide to Disney’s Vero Beach Resort

Wind & Waves

Are you planning a family vacation to Disney’s Vero Beach Resort in Vero Beach, Florida, and looking for delicious meals with your family? If the answer to this question is yes, then read on to learn about some of the fantastic dining options avalible at the resort.

Wind & Waves Grill

This beautiful beach-themed seafood restaurant is open from eight to eleven in the morning and five to nine in the evening. For breakfast, my personal favorite is the Biscuit Sandwich Duo. For $11.00, guests receive a delicious warm Chicken Biscuit with Cheddar and Sausage Gravy and a Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Biscuit served with a choice of Grits, Home Fries, or Fruit. All the side options are great, but the Home Fries must be noticed. My go-to item for lunch or dinner is the Bacon and Egg Appetizer. This yummy $14.00 dish is a Maple Bourbon-glazed Pork Belly and perfectly Poached Egg with Aged White Cheddar Polenta. If you are looking for a yummy entree, I suggest going with the $22.00 Vero Beach Signature-blend Burger. It has a Signature-blend Beef Patty, Bacon Jam, Barbecued Pork Belly, Sriracha Coleslaw, Beer-battered Onion Ring, and Cheddar on a House-made Bun served with French Fries. Is your mouth watering yet?!

Wind and Waves Pool Bar

This pool bar serves up typical poolside beverages for guests to enjoy. My favorite is the Blueberry Lemonade. It has Three Olives Blueberry Vodka, Bols Blue Curaçao, and Odwalla® Lemonade with Juices of Lemon and Pomegranate topped with Sprite. At  $12.25, this drink is on the pricer side, but it is well worth it. The High Tide Mojito is also worth checking out. It has Siesta Key Silver Rum, Lime Juice, Pure Cane Sugar and Mint topped with Soda Water. It will cost you $11.50, but you won’t regret it.  The pool bar is open every day from eleven in the morning to nine in the evening. Swing on by! You will be glad that you did.

Wind & Waves The Market

This quick-service restaurant is open daily from eight in the morning to nine in the evening. It offers some of the best quick service options at any Disney Resort Collection Hotel. My personal favorite items are the $13.00 Apple Pie Pancakes and the $13.00 Open-faced B.L.T.E. The  Apple-Cinnamon Swirl Pancakes come with an  Apple Fondant Syrup served with Bacon or Sausage. The B.L.T.E. is served on a Seven-Grain Bread with Bacon, a Sunny-side Egg, Arugula, Tomato, Avocado, and a delicious side of Home Fries. Order it. Trust me. It may quickly become your favorite dish of the entire vacation.

The Green Cabin Room

This fun and inviting nautical-themed lounge is open daily from 8:00 am to 11:00 am and 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm. I recommend the Chicken Wings, which are available for $7.99, or the Pretzel Bread Rolls with Beer and Cheddar Dip, which is also $7.99.If you are looking for something a bit more filling, try the Fish & Chips for $15.99
