Halloween has arrived at Disney World! The first Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party was on Friday August 15th. DVC Shop was there and we have a few tips if you will be attending in 2025!
1. Wear a Costume
Guests of all ages are allowed to wear costumes to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! This is an opportunity to get creative and dress up.
2. Arrive Early
With your party ticket you can enter the park as early at 4:00 PM. This is a great time to ride a few rides. There is so much to do during the party so we suggest hitting a few before the party begins. This is also a good time take your photos!
3. Watch the Boo-To-You Parade
The Boo-to-You parade is one of the must-see entertainment offerings at the party. The parade runs twice throughout the night, 8:15 and 11:15 PM. The second parade is often not as crowded at the first. It begins in Frontierland and there is often more open viewing in that area.
4. Skip the Fireworks If You Want To Meet Characters
Character lines are typically shorter during the fireworks which are at 10:00 PM. If you and your group are fine skipping the fireworks, you can cut some wait time in those character lines. This is especially true for more popular characters like Jack and Sally or Mickey and Minnie. Both sets of characters are located at the front of the park.
5. Go To All Of The Treat Locations
Another fun aspect of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary is that guests of all ages get to trick-or-treat! Treat locations are located in every land. Be sure to go through the Main Street bypass at the beginning of the party to get your treat bag and a full sized candy!
