Disney World is a well-known vacation destination for foodies! Guests love the Disney parks for their attractions, shows, and overall sense of magic and happiness. But many guests love snacking their way through their Disney vacation as well. There are snacks and treats for everyone’s taste. Whether you prefer classic snacks or something more unique, you will definitely find something to enjoy during your visit to the parks, resorts, and Disney Springs. Sometimes visiting during a hot day can influence what you eat. Luckily, there are plenty of snacks and treats that are especially enjoyable during those hot Florida days. Here are a few of our favorite Disney snacks for hot days.

Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Bar

This classic Disney snack is picture perfect and a fan-favorite of so many guests. The Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Bar, commonly referred to as “Mickey Head Ice Cream” is a Disney snack staple that’s perfect for a hot day. Vanilla ice cream is encased in a chocolate shell and lovingly sculpted into the shape of Mickey Mouse. This sweet treat is cold and readily available throughout all 4 Disney parks, Disney Springs, Disney resorts, and Disney waterparks. You can find a Mickey’s Premium bar at any ice cream stand throughout Disney World.

Hand-Scooped Ice Cream at Plaza Ice Cream Parlor

If you want something a little more unique then head over to the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor in Magic Kingdom on Main Street U.S.A. This ice cream shop serves nostalgic favorites like the All-American Sundae, featuring vanilla and chocolate ice cream, hot fudge, peanut butter sauce, and whipped cream. You can also grab milkshakes, hand-scooped flavors like mint chocolate chip, cookies and cream, and strawberry, as well as Ice Cream Cookie Sandwiches, and Brownie Sundaes. The location being on Main Street means you can take in some of Magic Kingdom’s finest ambiance while you enjoy your cool-down snack.

Frozen Viking Coffee at Kringa Bakeri Og Kafe

Over in EPCOT, you’ll find Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe in the Norway pavilion. Here is where you’ll find delicious Norwegian treats like School Bread, a custard-filled pastry rolled in toasted coconut, and Lefse, a soft flatbread rolled in cinnamon sugar and butter. You’ll also find a frozen drink that is perfect for the hot weather. The Frozen Viking Coffee is a frozen drink with Baileys Irish Cream Liqueur and Kamora Coffee Liqueur with Coffee-Chocolate Sauce and garnished with Coffee-Chocolate Crunch. This drink is popular for a reason!

Dole Whip

This classic Disney snack is extremely popular, and you can find it at only a few locations throughout the parks and resorts. Dole Whip is a delicious pineapple soft-serve that you absolutely must try on a hot day. You can find Dole Whip at Magic Kingdom in Adventureland at Aloha Isle, or at Pineapple Lanai at Disney’s Polynesian Resort.
