How to Spend a Day at the Boardwalk

Disney’s Boardwalk Resort is a fantastic spot to hang out; no admission required! Many guests don’t realize that Disney’s Boardwalk Resort is home to an Atlantic-style boardwalk that is reminiscent of New England. This resort is not only home to incredible DVC studios and villas, but entertainment as well. There’s a wonderful pool, fantastic dining, fun food stands, dancing, and even live entertainment. Guests can walk here from EPCOT’s International Gateway Entrance, take the boat from Hollywood Studios, or the Skyliner. There are many ways to have fun at the Boardwalk. Carousel Coffee

Start your day at the Boardwalk off right with some coffee from Carousel Coffee. This coffee shop serves specialty coffee like lattes, americanos, and cappuccinos. You can also grab iced coffee, tea, and even frozen coffee. There’s an assortment of pastries available for breakfast as well like Mickey cinnamon rolls and muffins.

Rent a Surrey Bike

Bike rentals are available at the Boardwalk, and renting a 2-4 person Surrey Bike is a great way to explore. You can zip through the boardwalk and surrounding paths and sightsee for places to visit later on in your day.

Splash in the Pool

The Boardwalk is home to Luna Park Pool, which is themed after a boardwalk theme park and complete with a 200 foot-long slide. There are two additional leisure pools if you’re looking for a more laid-back swimming experience.

Play at Side Show Games Arcade

When you’re done having fun in the sun you can duck into the Side Show Games Arcade for a cool-down. This arcade has dozens of arcade games and fun to be had.

Grab Lunch From Blue Ribbon Corn Dog

Blue Ribbon Corn Dog is a food stand located on the boardwalk. Here you can grab unique corn dogs that you can’t find anywhere else. Delicious treats like the Mexican Street Dog with Jalapeño Cheddar Sausage, fried in Cornmeal Batter. Topped with Garlic Mayo, Corn Kernels, Cotija Cheese, and Cilantro can be found here.

Have a Sweet Treat at Cake Bake Shop Bakery

If you have a sweet tooth then you’ll love Cake Bake Shop Bakery. This bakery sells artisanal cake by the slice as well as fudge, macarons, and other treats.

Dance the Night Away at Atlantic Dance Hall

Once night falls head over to Atlantic Dance Hall on the far end of the boardwalk. This dance hall plays both nostalgic and new music and invites guests to dance the night away. Drinks are available here as well as good vibes and good times.
