Choosing where to stay depends on what you want from your vacation. Some guests prefer resorts that are lively, busy, and full of activities and people. Some guests prefer their resorts to feel more quiet, private, relaxing, and secluded. If you prefer your vacations to feel quiet and peaceful then check out these DVC resorts that feel secluded for your next vacation.
Saratoga Springs
Saratoga Springs is a DVC resort with an equestrian theme and an upstate New York vibe. This resort is massive, and guests might find that there is more availability here than other DVC resorts simply because of its size. The resort is so spread out that it has a secluded feel, but without feeling empty. There are several buildings that house different villas and rooms and many bus stops placed throughout the resort so you never have to walk too far to get where you need to go. There’s an internal bus system as well so you can get from one stop to another and have quick access to the main pool and quick-service restaurant. Each area of the resort will have its own pool area as well. Perhaps the biggest draw to this resort is its walking distance to Disney Springs. Guests can enjoy the 20 minute walk, or they can take a boat. Saratoga Springs is also right next to a Disney golf course, so guests who are interested in playing have good access to that as well. Overall, this resort feels secluded but with plenty of opportunities for guests to immerse themselves in activities.

Old Key West
This DVC resort is a classic, and many guests consider it to be their favorite. Old Key West brings the Florida Keys to Central Florida, and guests love the laid-back vibe that this resort brings. This is also a large resort with plenty of space to stretch out. Old Key West has walking paths and bike rentals so families can enjoy exploring the grounds together. There are several pools and several playgrounds placed throughout the resort so no matter which building you find yourself in you aren’t far from recreation. Old Key West is also home to a wonderful restaurant, Olivia’s Cafe, serving brunch and dinner.

Copper Creek Cabins at Wilderness Lodge
Wilderness Lodge is a deluxe resort that is located off of Bay Lake, and the DVC cabins at Copper Creek offer a great feeling of seclusion and relaxation. These cabins are lakeside and include two full bathrooms, a full kitchen, living and dining areas, and a private porch and hot tub. The cabins sleep up to 8 guests and offer the best privacy and seclusion that you’ll find at any Disney resort. If you want amenities and recreation, you aren’t far from Wilderness Lodge and its dining, pool, and lobby.
