Best Places To Sit And Relax At Magic Kingdom



Disney vacations are known for being jam-packed full of activities, attractions, shows, and entertainment. Many guests who visit the parks expect to be kept busy during their trips. Some guests really enjoy the hustle and bustle of their Disney vacation, while others might prefer a more leisurely experience. If you are the type of person who enjoys rest and relaxation during their vacation then a Disney vacation can still be a wonderful experience for you. Each park has their own areas that are suitable for relaxation and taking it slow. If you have an upcoming Disney vacation then check out these best places to chill at each park. Here are the best places to sit and relax at Magic Kingdom!

Castle Hub Grass

Near Casey’s Corner at the end of Main Street you’ll find a fenced in grassy area known as the castle hub grass. This is an area just for relaxation and rest. Many guests enjoy getting food at Casey’s Corner and taking it to the hub grass for a picnic. This is also a great place to have your kids run around to burn off some extra energy while you sit and relax. You can catch glimpses of the Festival of Fantasy parade from this area and still experience the music and vibes without being caught up in the crowd.

Near Big Top Souvenirs in Fantasyland

Near the rear of Fantasyland is where you’ll find the Big Top Souvenirs shop. Next to the Dumbo attraction and the Smellephants on Parade showcase, you’ll see a large shop modeled after a circus tent called Big Top Souvenirs. Next to this area is a sitting area that’s under a tent. There are chairs and charging stations for guests to use and fans blowing to cool off.

Carousel of Progress in Tomorrowland

This next area to sit and relax is within an attraction. Carousel of Progress is an animatronic show within Tomorrowland that takes place in a dark and cool theater, and with a 25 minute run time its the perfect place to sit and relax. This attraction is the perfect place to chill while you experience a Walt Disney original that first played at the 1964 World’s Fair.

Hall of Presidents in Liberty Square

Another attraction that is a great opportunity for sitting and relaxing is the Hall of Presidents in Liberty Square. This animatronic stage show as a runtime of around 25 minutes. The cool and dark theater is a great spot to chill. Before you enter the show you can sit and rest in the waiting area as well.

Rapunzel’s Bathrooms in Fantasyland

Sitting near a bathroom might be a bit unusual for resting, but the Rapunzel bathrooms in Fantasyland are a great spot to check out. This area is extremely well-themed and has great vibes for any Tangled fan to experience .
