Savi’s Workshop, known for its hands-on lightsaber-building experience, is introducing a limited-time hilt theme called “Reclaimed and Reforged.” This new addition will be available starting May 4th, 2025. The design takes inspiration from materials scavenged from old battles and starship wreckage, offering a link to the galaxy’s storied past.

When visiting Savi’s Workshop, guests can select the “Reclaimed and Reforged” hilt or one of four other year-round themes, including Peace and Justice, Power and Control, Elemental Nature, and Protection and Defense. Once inside, aspiring Jedi and Sith assemble their customized lightsabers with parts available for their theme. Builders can choose from various components, including sleeves, emitters, and pommel caps, ultimately connecting their finished hilt to a lightsaber blade. Guests also select their kyber crystals, which determine the lightsaber’s color, whether it be blue, green, violet, or red.

Outside Savi’s Workshop, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge continues its mission of creating fully immersive experiences for fans. Beyond attractions, guests can explore themed merchandise, food, and beverage options to deepen their connection to the Star Wars universe. For instance, life-sized remote-controlled MSE droids, Galactic refreshment orbs adorned in Aurebesh, and rotating collections of treasures at Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities enhance the storytelling.

Galaxy’s Edge also features interactive builds at the Droid Depot, allowing guests to design their own functional droid companions who can interact with their surroundings while exploring the land. Meanwhile, visitors can shop apparel inspired by the Star Wars universe, including designs by Her Universe, a brand created by Ashley Eckstein, who portrays Ahsoka Tano in Star Wars animated series.

New Adventures on Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run

Updates Coming to Millennium Falcon Smugglers Run

A new experience is coming to the Millennium Falcon attraction in 2026. Starting May 22nd, the Smugglers Run ride will include an option to go on a mission featuring Din Djarin (The Mandalorian) and Grogu. Riders will take control of the Falcon in an interactive storyline, choosing their path as they explore various iconic Star Wars locations such as Bespin, Endor, or Coruscant.
