A day at EPCOT can become quite busy with so much to see and do. Some guests might even find themselves wandering the park looking for a place to rest and take a break from all the hustle and bustle of the day. Part of the reason why I love World Showcase is because of the quiet moments you can find within the country pavilions. Some pavilions are more lively than others with many attractions and things to see and do, but some pavilions are more low-key and have some opportunities for rest and relaxation. If you find yourself walking through World Showcase in need of a break then check out these World Showcase pavilions that are great for resting.
Japan
This pavilion is full of quiet corners and moments of peace. The Japan pavilion is home to a beautiful Japanese garden walkthrough where guests can take their time, relax, and soak in the nature. Periodically throughout the day, the Matsuriza drummers perform which provides guests with another opportunity to be still and restful while they watch the performance. As guests make their way toward the rear of the pavilion they’ll find the Bijutsu-kan Gallery, which is currently home to an exhibit on Japan’s “kawaii” culture. This quiet gallery is air-conditioned and has bench seating for guests who need to rest, and is also full of interesting artifacts and information on Japanese culture. Overall, Japan is my favorite pavilion for resting and finding quiet moments of peace.

Morocco
Morocco is a very quiet pavilion that is full of beautiful architecture and buildings to admire. Here you’ll find Fez House, which is a replica of a traditional Moroccan home. This building is great for taking break from the sun all while appreciating the beauty of Moroccan art. Guests needing a break to eat can also enjoy Spice Road Table and sample some of its small plate offerings of hummus and other traditional Moroccan food.

The American Adventure
This pavilion is great for resting because of The American Adventure show. This production takes place in an air-conditioned theater, and the show lasts for approximately 29 minutes which is the perfect length for a break. This show is beautiful, and showcases American history perfectly through audio-animatronics, intricate sets, and the real words of historical figures like Benjamin Franklin and Mark Twain. This show is not only great for rest, but a wonderful educational experience as well.

United Kingdom
If you like wandering through pavilions and finding restful areas then you’ll love exploring the United Kingdom pavilion. This pavilion really feels like you are on the streets of London. You can find the iconic red phone booths and play around in them, and then continue exploring to find the hedge maze and garden area. If you need a break from the heat you can pop into Rose & Crown Pub and grab a pint while you rest.
