Violet Sake

Spring break is an exciting time for any student, but college students in particular are ready to party and cut loose. Many young adults might not be thinking of Disney World when they think of spring break destinations, but Disney is actually a great place to visit to relax, unwind, and celebrate. College students love visiting Disney because it allows them to play around and have fun, enjoy delicious food and drink, and not have to worry about rideshares and transportation during their visit. If you are a student thinking of a good place to spend your spring break this year then continue reading to learn all about why Disney World is a great spring break destination for college kids.

Disney Transportation

Where else in the world can you visit for spring break and never have to worry about rideshares and transportation? Disney transportation is a major perk for college students who are on spring break. Once you arrive on property you won’t have to Uber, Lyft, or drive anywhere. Disney resort guests can use the Disney bus system to get to any park and Disney Springs; and the busses are extremely efficient. Guests staying on the monorail line can use the monorail to get to Magic Kingdom and EPCOT, and guests staying on the Skyliner route can use the Skyliner to get to Hollywood Studios and EPCOT. Overall, you won’t have to budget for rideshares or rental cars while you are having fun on your Disney spring break vacation.

Earlier Spring Breaks

One major perk to a college spring break is that their spring breaks are typically earlier in the year than the K-12 school systems’ breaks. College spring breaks being in March or very early April mean that you might not run into as many families with small kids, and the parks might be slightly less busy than they would be during mid-April. College students should take advantage of their earlier spring breaks but still expect the parks to be a bit busier than they would be earlier in the year.

Good Drinks

If enjoying some good drinks is important to you during spring break then you’ll love EPCOT’s World Showcase. Many guests enjoy drinking their way around the world and sampling some of the many cocktails and draft beers from each country pavilion. This activity has become a staple of many guests’ EPCOT visits, and is the perfect college spring break activity. Don’t forget to pace yourself and drink lots of water!

Great For Groups

Disney World is a great spring break destination for college students because of DVC villas. By staying DVC you can keep your entire group together, and enjoy deluxe accommodations at moderate prices when renting from DVC Shop. Some DVC resorts that are great for large groups include Old Key West and Saratoga Springs. The multi-bedroom villas ensure that everyone has their own space while still being able to stay together.
