Enjoying Quiet Moments At Disney’s Hollywood Studios

The Disney parks can be busy and especially so during school breaks and holidays. Vacationing to Disney World can mean a lot of stimulation with crowds, exciting attractions, and live entertainment. When your day is full of activity and busyness it can be hard to find quiet moments for relaxation and peace. Even though there is so much to do during your day at the parks it is still important to find time for quiet and rest. If you have an upcoming vacation to Disney World then continue reading for how we like to enjoy quiet moments at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Walt Disney Presents

This self-guided walkthrough gallery located in Animation Courtyard is the perfect place to slow your pace and take in some quiet moments. This gallery takes you through the life and career of Walt Disney and features memorabilia from his childhood, early career, and films. Guests can take their time and explore this intricate gallery at their own pace. Guests can also meet Ariel as she appears in the live action film near the back of the gallery. The exhibit concludes with a 15 minute-long documentary entitled “One Man’s Dream” which explores the life of Walt Disney.

Star Wars Launch Bay

Another gallery or exhibit is located within Animation Courtyard. Star Wars Launch Bay is also a self-guided walk through galleries with Star Wars movie props, memorabilia, replicas, and more. Star Wars Launch Bay is a must-do for any Star Wars fan, and offers a great break from the heat and crowd for families. There is a meet and greet available for Chewbacca, Darth Vader, and BB-8 during this Star Wars experience. Guests exit the Star Wars Launch Bay to a shop that sells Star Wars artwork, replicas, and other unique souvenirs you can’t find anywhere else.

Relax Near Echo Lake

Echo Lake has many opportunities for quiet rest. Dockside Diner is located on the lake and serves unique hot dogs like the Bacon Macaroni & Cheese Hot Dog, and Pretzel Hot Dog. Guests can grab a bite and stroll along the lake or sit at a bench or table nearby as they take in the sights and sounds of Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Shop on Sunset Boulevard

Sunset Boulevard has become a less busy area of the park which makes it a great street to stroll down for a quiet moment. There are many shops located along Sunset Boulevard that are great for ducking into for a quick break. Shops like Once Upon a Time and Legends of Hollywood sells unique souvenirs that are park exclusive to Hollywood Studios!

Enjoy Muppets Courtyard Before It Closes

This quiet area will be closing soon! Muppets Courtyard is a great place for sitting and relaxing and soaking in the ambiance of the park. The fountain in Muppets Courtyard is a fun place for kids to toss coins, and the nearby Muppet Vision 3D and Pizzerizzo are great places to hang out. Enjoy these quiet areas before they close this summer.
