Reservations Open to All DVC Members for Island Tower at Polynesian Villas

The Disney Vacation Club (DVC) community is buzzing with excitement as reservations for the new Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows open up to all eligible members. Opening Reservations: What You Need to Know

The Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows is set to open on December 17th, 2024.

Members who add points at Polynesian Villas to their existing memberships could start making reservations for the Island Tower on October 15th, 2024.
First-time buyers interested in purchasing ownership within the Polynesian Villas could do so starting October 29th, 2024, with their booking window opening on November 5th, 2024.
All Eligible DVC Members – As of today, November 19th, 2024, reservations can be made using points from other Home resorts under the 7-month booking window, subject to any resale restrictions.

Reservations for the Island Tower have now been made accessible to all eligible DVC members, marking a significant milestone. Initially, only Polynesian owners had the privilege to book using their DVC points. However, with the latest update, members from other DVC properties can now use their points to secure a stay, provided their points are eligible.

Eligible members can reserve nights at the Island Tower using their DVC points. Polynesian owners enjoy an 11-month booking window, allowing them to plan visits well in advance. For owners of other DVC properties, reservations can be made up to seven months before the intended arrival date. This means non-Polynesian owners can currently book stays for available dates through June 19th, while Polynesian points extend booking availability through October 19th, 2025.

The Virtual Waiting Room: A New Step in the Process

To manage high member interest, Disney has implemented a virtual waiting room for the booking process. This system ensures orderly access to the reservations page, minimizing potential delays.
