Unique Firework Views At DVC Resorts

BOOM! POW! The striking colors paint the night sky. It is a glorious sight, and your smile begins to widen as the spectacle takes place. The person depicted here is you from the future! Whether you are watching EPCOT or Magic Kingdom’s firework show, there are many places to watch it from while avoiding the crowded parks. In this article, I will share unique firework view locations at the DVC resorts. Let’s get started!

1. Contemporary Resort Sky Bridge

For a great view of the Magic Kingdom fireworks, a coveted spot is the sky bridge connecting Disney’s Contemporary resort and Bay Lake Tower. Most people go to the designated firework viewing spot on the fourth floor of the Contemporary building, which has seats and room to stand. However, a more desolate area would be the sky bridge, as you can see the fireworks and hear the show music, without as many crowds.

2. Geyser Point at Wilderness Lodge Resort

This quiet and calm spot located behind Geyser Point Bar and Grill, is a great place to see the Magic Kingdom show. The image below gives a visual view of the location. If you face the opposite side of the seats (that point towards Bay Lake Tower), you will see (and hear) the fireworks glowing in the sky. Although the view is a tad obstructed due to trees, you still get an overall good view of the fireworks if you stay in this resort.

3. Boardwalk Resort hotels

The entire boardwalk has awesome views of the EPCOT fireworks; any of the three DVC resorts on the Boardwalk are sure to offer stupendous sights. However, a tip is to find the outside of Atlantic Dance Hall or the Beach Club resort back entrance. These areas have the best 180 view of the show. With that being said, if you stay at any of the three resorts on the Boardwalk, you are guaranteed an acceptable sight!

4. Topolino’s at Riviera Resort

While this option is a little more demanding, it is worth noting that the views from Topolino’s Terrace at the Riviera Resort are extraordinary! The top of the restaurant offers a perfect view of the glimmering Epcot fireworks, but only for restaurant guests. This makes it a more exclusive firework viewing, but it is worth it for the experience. Additionally, you would enjoy a delicious meal in this popular and beloved restaurant.

While seeing the firework shows in the parks are a great finale to your vacation, we cannot deny that the DVC resorts offer amazing views for those who perhaps missed these coveted night spectacles. I guarantee that the above-mentioned resorts and their respective locations, will give you superb views of the fireworks. As an added bonus, you will avoid the busy crowds and have a more private view. These DVC resorts are ready to accomodate you and your family, so you, dear reader, can revel in the views of this unforgettable, Disney nighttime extravaganza.
