Pirates Lair

Disneyland is a park that is rich in history as it was the first Disney park to open and has been operating since 1955. Walt Disney had a vision of a place where adults and children could have fun and play together, and Disneyland is his dream come to life. Disneyland has several themed areas including Tomorrowland, Fantasyland, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, New Orleans Square, Mickey’s Toontown, Mainstreet USA, Adventureland, Critter Country, and Frontierland. Attractions

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad- This roller coaster is for guests 40 inches or taller. This abandoned mine train certainly lives up to its name as the wildest ride in the wilderness. Guests experience tunnels, rickety track, drops, and tight turns as they reach a top speed of 35 miles per hour.

Pirate’s Lair on Tom Sawyer Island- Only accessible via log raft across the Rivers of America, Tom Sawyer Island was designed by Walt Disney himself. Featuring trails, suspension bridges, caves, and a settler’s fort, Pirate’s Lair on Tom Sawyer Island gives guests a unique experience of traveling back to the days of Mark Twain’s stories.

Mark Twain Riverboat- This real steam-powered riverboat takes guests on a 14 minute-long journey around Pirate’s Lair and offers viewings of different scenes including a Native American village and an old log cabin.

Sailing Ship Columbia- The Sailing Ship Columbia is a full-scale replica of an 18th century ship that also circles Tom Sawyer Island. This 15 minute tour views the same sights as the Mark Twain’s tour.

Food and Drink

Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante– This quick-service Mexican restaurant serves your favorite authentic foods like enchiladas, tacos, and carne asada.

River Belle Terrace- This sit-down restaurant offers scenic riverfront views as guests dine on southern favorites for brunch or dinner. Guests love the famous Big Belle Sandwich consisting of Nashville Hot Chicken, Brisket Mac n’ Cheese, and House-made slaw.

The Golden Horseshoe- This quick-service restaurant offers quick bites to eat like the Caesar Wrap and Chicken Tenders, as well as a variety of seasonal drinks and desserts.

Stage Door Cafe- Another quick-service food stand serving quick bites like Chicken Tenders and Hand-dipped Corn Dogs. Seasonal drinks and desserts are also served here.

Pioneer Mercantile

Entertainment and Other Experiences

Fantasmic!- This nightly show is located on the Rivers of America and follows Mickey Mouse as the Sorcerer’s Apprentice. Many Disney characters appear during this nighttime spectacular. Seating for Fantasmic! is first come first served.

Frontierland Shootin’ Exposition- Give it your best shot! Aim your replica rifle at one of 100 interactive targets. An additional fee is required for this experience. One credit gives guests 25 shots.
