Must-Do Dining for Children at Disney World

Dining with children on vacation can mean additional planning and research on where is best to suit your needs as a family. Disney World is home to several restaurants, and so many of these restaurants are great for children of all ages. You won’t find a more family-friendly vacation destination than Disney World, and you will be quite pleased with the dining options available to you. There are several restaurants throughout the Disney parks and resorts that children love. If you have an upcoming vacation to Disney World with your family then be sure to check out these must-do dining locations for children.

Garden Grill Restaurant

Located within The Land pavilion at EPCOT, Garden Grill Restaurant is a character dining experience that the entire family will love. The restaurant slowly rotates, giving guests views of the Living with the Land attraction below. Chip, Dale, Pluto, and Farmer Mickey make their way around the restaurant to greet guests and interact with them. This restaurant is extra special due to its small size, because the characters tend to come around to see you more than once! Garden Grill is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. For breakfast, guests can expect an all-you-care-to-enjoy breakfast platter consisting of pastries, Mickey waffles, bacon, potatoes, eggs, steak, and more. For lunch and dinner, guests can enjoy a feast of cornbread, roasted turkey, green beans, macaroni and cheese, steak, mashed potatoes, and more.

Coral Reef Restaurant

For kiddos who need a little bit of entertainment while they eat, check out Coral Reef Restaurant at EPCOT. Located in World Nature, this restaurant features a view of EPCOT’s massive ocean-made enviroment. This aquarium is home to fish, sea turtles, sharks, sting rays, and you might even spot a few divers as well. Guests can enjoy dining on delicious seafood as well as land items like steak. This restaurant is perfect for the child in your life who loves aquariums and aquatic animals.

Crystal Palace

Another character dining experience that is an absolute must-do for your children is Crystal Palace. Located in Magic Kingdom, this character buffet features Winnie the Pooh, Eeyore, Piglet, and Tigger. Guests can enjoy a buffet of either breakfast classics like omelets, ham, and Mickey waffles, or visit during lunch or dinner for various carved meats, seafood, mashed potatoes, and rolls. Finish up lunch and dinner by munching on some cute Winnie the Pooh-themed desserts!

Roundup Rodeo BBQ

If you have a Toy Story fan in your family then Roundup Rodeo BBQ in Hollywood Studios is a must-do. This restaurant allows guests to dine inside Andy’s room as the size of a toy. Guests can enjoy an all-you-care-to-eat feast consisting of BBQ favorites like ribs, brisket, chicken, and various sides like mac n’ cheese and biscuits. Be sure to listen for Andy and freeze if you hear him coming!

1900 Park Fare

Located at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort, 1900 Park Fare is the newest character dining experience at Disney World. Characters who are wish-makers join you as you dine on a delicious breakfast buffet, or dinner buffet. Characters at 1900 Park Fare include Mirabel, Tiana, Aladdin, and Cinderella. This restaurant is a must-do for children who enjoy these characters, and a must-do for adults who enjoy great prime rib and Strawberry Soup!
