Many guests don’t realize that Disney has two beach resorts: Disney’s Vero Beach Resort and Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort. Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort is located in South Carolina and is 5 hours away from Disney World in Florida. This resort is located on the Atlantic coast and is a great opportunity for guests who want a beach vacation with a little extra Disney magic sprinkled in. Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort is a great resort filled with many amenities and things to do. Join us as we explore this beach resort together!

Villas

Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort offers a deluxe studio room sleeping up to 4 adults, a 1-bedroom villa sleeping up to 5 adults, a 2-bedroom villa sleeping up to 9 adults, and a 3-bedroom grand villa sleeping up to 12 adults. Each room has a balcony with views of either woodlands or water, and each multi-bedroom villa has a full kitchen as well as laundry machines. Guest will really feel at home during their stay in these spacious villas that are great for large families.

Dining

Signals– Located at Disney’s Beach House near the beach, this quick-service restaurant serves sandwiches, salads, beverages, and various treats. Take a break from the beach and refuel at Signals.

Tide Me Over– Located near the main resort building, Tide Me Over serves food inspired by the state of South Carolina. Guest can enjoy burgers, sandwiches, and salads. Orders can be enjoyed onsite or taken to-go.

Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort is also located near several local restaurants and dining opportunities off-property.

Pools

The Big Dipper and Little Dipper Pools– The Big Dipper Pool is home to a twisting waterslide, and the nearby Little Dipper Pool is perfect for the little swimmer in your family. The Little Dipper Pool also features water-spitting frogs and other water play features.

Disney’s Beach House Pool- Disney’s Beach House contains a heated pool; perfect for taking a break from the beach.

Entertainment

Disney’s Beach House- Located near the Atlantic Beach, Disney’s Beach House has everything you need to enjoy your time in the sand. Guests can take a break inside the house to play games, have a snack, or just enjoy the air-conditioning. A heated pool is located onsite if you wish to swim in a pool rather than the ocean. You can find towels and chair and umbrella rentals here as well.

Several other opportunities for fun reside within Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort including guided excursions, activities for teens and children, campfires, nature walks, Community Hall and Lounge, tennis courts, and golf lessons.

Amenities

Disney’s Hilton Head Island offers complimentary shuttles to and from the beach and Disney’s Beach House, as well as grills, laundry services, and pet care. A general store, Broad Creek Mercantile, is located near the Big Dipper Pool for your convenience. Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort also offers online check-in and free wi-fi.
