Disney Springs, Walt Disney World’s popular shopping, dining, and entertainment complex, has announced that it will no longer be offering its valet parking service. This move comes as a surprise to the few guests who have come to enjoy this convenient service during their visits.
The valet parking service at Disney Springs was known for previously provided for a fee of $20 at the porte-cochère of Cirque du Soleil in the afternoons and evenings. Guests could simply drive up to the valet stand, hand over their keys, and avoid finding a parking spot. However, recent changes have led to the discontinuation of this service.
While Disney has not released an official statement explaining why the service has been discontinued, one can speculate that the decision may be linked to the fact that many guests didn’t know this service was ever offered, and that there is ample self-parking available in Disney Springs.
Despite the discontinuation of the valet service, self parking at Disney Springs remains free for all guests. There are two main parking garages, the Orange and Lime lots, as well as the Strawberry surface parking lot. Each of these options offers plenty of spaces, and digital displays indicate how many spots are available in real-time.
In the end, while the valet service will be missed by those who used it, the magic of Disney Springs continues. The focus remains on providing guests with unforgettable experiences, and this change is just a small part of the constantly evolving Disney landscape.
