Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue is a dinner show that’s been entertaining guests at Walt Disney World for over 40 years. The show is set in the 1800s and follows the antics of six wannabe cowboys and cowgirls. Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue is known for its humor, catchy songs, and dance numbers.

The Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue is one of the longest-running shows in Disney history. The show features a cast of the Pioneer Players, and is performed at Pioneer Hall at Disney’s Fort Wilderness.

Showtimes

Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue is currently performed three times nightly, at 4:00 pm, 6:30 pm, and 8:00 pm.

Reservations are highly recommended, as these showtimes have been selling out consistently. We were lucky enough to grab a same-day reservation, but we had been looking for weeks to find an opening when we must have picked up someone else’s cancellation.

There are 3 different sections of seating; category 1 is seated in the center of the room on the ground floor, category 2 is positioned on the rear-most balcony on the second floor, and category 3 is split between the left and right balconies on the second floor.

At Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue, you’ll be served a pre-determined menu of food, but you can always request allergy-friendly customizations for your party. You’ll be served all-you-care-to-enjoy dishes such as:

Getting To Disney’s Fort Wilderness

It is recommended to arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled showtime. Doors will open at 4:00 pm, 6:15 pm, and 8:30pm, and seating will begin immediately. There are a few options for guests to get transport to Disney’s Fort Wilderness:

Using Disney Resort Transportation

It is possible to use Disney’s buses to get to Fort Wilderness, but you will need to transfer at least one time as there are no direct routes from Disney Resort hotels or Disney Vacation Club resorts to Fort Wilderness. Be sure to allot plenty of time for this method of transportation.

Taking Your Own Vehicle

If you are able to drive to Fort Wilderness or use a ride-sharing service, you can park, or be dropped off right in front of the Outpost Bus Depot, which offers buses directly to Pioneer Hall, where the show takes place. It’s recommended to allow for about 30 minutes to get from the Outpost Bus Depot to Pioneer Hall.

Taking The Ferry From Magic Kingdom Park

It is also possible to take a ferry that originates at Magic Kingdom, but it’s recommended to set aside up to an hour and a half to make the trek.

What To Expect

When you arrive at Disney’s Fort Wilderness, you will need to make your way to Pioneer Hall, which is in the North section of the property. You can board any bus that it’s destined for a location off of the property at the Outpost Bus Depot, whether it’s the yellow, orange, or purple bus line to get to Pioneer Hall.

Checking-In

About 30 minutes before your reservation time for the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue show, you’ll need to check in. This will be your last opportunity to mention any dietary restrictions or food customizations your party will need. They will have a chef on-hand to consult with you regarding what alterations can be offered, and you will receive a paper ticket that allows your party to enter Pioneer Hall.

Just prior to your scheduled showtime, you’ll be greeted by Cast Members and asked to form a line on one of two sides of Pioneer Hall. After that, you’ll be seated at your table based on the category you have selected when purchasing your tickets.

Once everyone is seated, the show will begin with a bang! The cast will sing and dance their way through a variety of songs and skits. You’ll be clapping and singing along in no time.

Between songs, you’ll be served your all-you-care-to-enjoy dinner. The food is hearty and tasty, and there’s plenty of it. You definitely won’t leave Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue hungry! The cast of the show is extremely quick-witted, interacting with the guests and encouraging a lot of audience participation.

The show will end with a bang as well, with the cast coming out to say goodbye and take a final bow.
