Disneyland is all about bringing the magic back to guests since their reopening, including new socially distanced character meet and greets. Characters are popping up all over the parks; princesses, pirates, and resistance fighters among them. Here is a list of all the places that guests can find character meet and greets in Disneyland, and who you will find there. Royal Theatre
Guests can find princesses galore in this area. The characters will stand on circular mats to maintain proper distancing from guests, and there are also banners strung along the area to act as a barrier that let guests know where to stand. Here guests will be able to see, take pictures with, and talk to:
- Snow White
- Rapunzel and Flynn Rider
- Elena of Avalor
- Aurora
- Belle
- Ariel
- Cinderella
The characters are all wearing their fanciest dresses to greet guests and will offer up poses for photos as well.
Royal Hall
The Royal Theatre is not the only place in Fantasyland guests will spot characters. On the balcony of Royal Hall, guests can participate in outdoor character meet and greets as well. At this location guests will find:
- Rapunzel and Flynn Rider
- The Evil Queen
- Anna and Elsa
Characters here will interact with guests from a distance as well as each other with playful banter and little in character performances.
Near The Castle
Next to Sleeping Beauty’s Castle on a lawn area, guests will find Mulan making appearances to guests as well. This location is a little more subtle and the exact lawn has not been disclosed, but Mulan is always a girl worth looking for.
Galaxy’s Edge
Guests can see some Star Wars favorites hanging out in Galaxy’s Edge. Guests should pay a visit to the land-speeder area where they will be able to interact with:
- Rey
- Chewbacca
- Vi Moradi
Occasionally guests may be able to spot two characters at once in this area, as Rey and Vi Moradi sometimes hang out on the top of the land-speeder garage to look out for any trouble coming in from the First Order.
Royal Street Veranda
Guests will find a variety of characters in New Orleans Square’s Royal Street Veranda from princesses to pirates. These character meet and greets are at more of a distance than others, so they may not include the best conversation. However, the characters located here are full of personality which makes for great pictures and videos.
Be on the lookout in the balcony and staircase for:
- Tiana
- Captain Jack Sparrow
- Redd
More To Come?
Disneyland has certainly brought out a ton of favorite characters since their April 30th reopening. Although they are not announcing when and where the characters will appear, we can only assume they are just getting started, and there will be more to come.
