Many guests don’t realize that dining options extend beyond the Disney parks. Disney resorts are home to incredible restaurants that anyone is welcome to enjoy. When vacationing with children, it can be difficult to find restaurants that both adults and kids will enjoy together. But Disney makes it easy to find restaurants that are great for the entire family. 1. 1900 Park Fare at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort

An amazing character buffet featuring Disney’s greatest wish makers can be found at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort. 1900 Park Fare is open for breakfast and dinner, and this restaurant features Mirabel, Aladdin, Cinderella, and Tiana. Guests are invited to make wishes together as they enjoy meeting and greeting these characters. The buffet is full of classic dishes like carved prime rib, macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes, salmon, and Grand Floridian’s famous Strawberry Soup.

2. Chef Mickey’s at Disney’s Contemporary Resort

Another classic character buffet is Chef Mickey’s, located at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. This restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner, and is the only place where you can meet all members of “the fab five”. Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, and Pluto are all ready to meet with you here. Chef Mickey’s has a great breakfast buffet full of classics and Mickey waffles, and for dinner a classic meal is served.

3. Topolino’s Terrace Breakfast at Disney’s Riviera Resort

For breakfast only, Topolino’s Terrace at Disney’s Riviera Resort is home to a great character meal. Mickey, Minnie, Daisy, and Donald are all dressed to impress in their artistic best. This rooftop restaurant serves incredible entree options for breakfast like Eggs Benedict, Quiche, Sour Cream Waffles, and more. Guests love the personal interactions they get with the characters at this intimate restaurant.

4. Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Resort

At Ohana restaurant at Disney’s Polynesian Resort, everyone is family! For breakfast, guests are treated to an all-you-care-to-enjoy feast served family-style. Lilo, Stitch, and other friends join you for breakfast and meet you while you dine. There aren’t any characters present for dinner but the ambiance is still great. Guests are treated to Hawaiian-inspired foods and many consider Ohana to be a meat-lover’s paradise.

5. Beaches and Cream at Disney’s Beach Club

If you’re looking for something more casual to enjoy with your kids then Beaches and Cream Soda Shop at Disney’s Beach Club is a great option for you. This restaurant feels like stepping back in time. Not only can you eat classic burgers and sandwiches here, but you can also enjoy specialty ice cream and shakes that you can’t get anywhere else!
