3 Tips To Best Utilize Your Disney Vacation Club Studio

Staying at a Deluxe Disney Vacation Club resort is always a great plan, but if you want to stretch your money or your points on your stay, a studio may be the perfect option. Studios do not always get the credit that they deserve due to their size. However, there are a lot of ways that studios can be best utilized in order to make them as functional as possible for your next Disney trip.

1.) Bring Food That’s Easy To Prepare

Studios do not have a full kitchen like some of the larger suites. However, that does not need to be an issue! There are a lot of great amenities inside of studios. They come with a refrigerator, a microwave, and a toaster. This gives guests plenty of opportunity to make meals inside their studios, even without a full kitchen. Some options for guests could include:

  • Cereal and Milk
  • Bagels or Toast with toppings
  • Cut Fruit and Veggies
  • Microwaveable Foods (burritos, egg cups, sandwiches)
  • Meat and Cheese Plates

Whatever snacks and meals you prefer to enjoy in your studio, be sure to plan ahead. If you are driving, you can stop at a grocery store and pick things up, or if you do not have a car have groceries delivered to your resort so that you have foods on hand.

2.) Schedule Around Sharing A Bathroom

When staying in a studio with a family, things may occasionally feel a little tight, in particular around sharing a bathroom. One of the best ways to make this easier would be to plan out bathroom time.

Small things such as deciding when everyone will take their showers, or even brushing your teeth somewhere other than in the bathroom will make mornings run much smoother when getting ready to head to the parks.

3.) Get Out There, It’s A Big Blue World!

The undeniable truth is that a studio will be smaller than a 1 or 2 bedroom. However, are you going to Disney to be in a room or to go out and experience everything Disney has to offer? Most likely the latter! So, one great tip is to not stay cooped up in the studio for too much of your vacation.

There are so many different and fun things that Disney offers on their properties and at the parks, there won’t be any need to stay inside all day. The best reason to stay in a studio is to be able to stay on vacation longer to enjoy all that Disney has to offer!

These are just a few examples of tips to get the most out your stay in a Disney Vacation Club studio. The studios may be lacking the square footage other larger rooms have, but they are an excellent choice when it comes to saving money and staying as long as possible in Disney. If you’d like to see the exact square footage and occupancy limits for any room at any of the Disney Vacation Club resorts you can watch our video on the topic or reference our comparison charts, both can be found here: DVC Room Size Comparison Charts | Which DVC Resort Has The Most Spacious Villas?.
