The 2025 dues have now been posted to members’ accounts, giving owners insight into their financial responsibilities for the 2025 calendar year. Additionally, Disney Vacation Club has published new details about the use of gift cards as a payment option for dues. Let’s take a closer look at what has changed since last year, and what deadlines are in place.

Viewing Your 2025 Dues

The dues total is primarily based on the per-point rates that we shared in November, but there may also be adjustments tied to 2024 property tax estimates. For instance, resorts such as Disney’s Riviera Resort and The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort will see credits due to overpaid 2024 taxes, while some other resorts may show an additional balance for under-assessed property taxes.

Important Updates to Using Disney Gift Cards

Paying annual dues with Disney Gift Cards has become a popular option for some members. However, a new policy has been introduced that affects how and when gift cards can be applied:

  • Before February 14th – Members can apply a gift card toward their dues and then enroll in auto-pay for the remaining balance.
  • After February 14th – If auto-pay is canceled mid-year, the full outstanding balance will need to be paid immediately. At this point, a gift card can be applied, but the account will face restrictions, including no re-enrollment in auto-pay for the rest of the year.

This policy aims to streamline payment processes but requires members to carefully plan how they intend to pay their dues.

Annual dues must be paid or auto-pay enrollment confirmed by January 15th, 2025. However, Disney provides a one-month grace period, extending the deadline to February 15th, 2025. Missing this final deadline could result in penalties like suspension of booking privileges or even the cancellation of booked trips.
