Along with the announcement that sales for Villas at Disneyland Hotel will begin starting May 2nd for current DVC members, we have also learned when reservations using DVC points will begin.
When Do Reservations For Villas at Disneyland Hotel Open?

For those buyers who purchase a new contract at Villas at Disneyland Hotel, they will be able to start booking at the resort using their new DVC points starting on May 16th, 2023. Those new owners will be able to book their vacations with a check-in date starting September 28th, 2023 through April 16th, 2024.
For eligible owners at other home resort wishing to book at Villas at Disneyland Hotel, reservations can begin being made starting on July 27th, 2023. At that time, eligible owners of other DVC resorts will be able to book their vacations with a check-in date starting September 28th, 2023 through February 27th, 2024.
Modified Booking Windows For New DVC Resorts
After this period of time, the normal 7 month booking window will apply for all eligible owners at other DVC resorts. It has been historically normal for Disney Vacation Club to offer a modified set of booking windows upon the opening of a new DVC resort.
In this case, new members who purchase a contract for Villas at Disneyland Hotel will receive just a 10 week priority booking window when compared to other eligible DVC members that own at other resorts.
Much like what we’ve seen at Disney’s Riviera Resort, Villas at Disneyland Hotel has been classified as a “Restricted Resort”. This means that only members who have purchased their DVC points directly from Disney, or have resale points that have been grandfathered in can use their points to book at this resort.
Transient Occupancy Tax
Another factor to consider when booking a vacation at Villas at Disneyland Hotel would be the Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT) that will be charged on a per-point basis for each reservation. It is estimated that stays in the 2023 calendar year would incur an additional charge of approximately $2.73 per point that is used to make the reservation.
