Attraction Overview
Vacation Fun – An Original Animated Short With Mickey & Minnie is fun and low key attraction. This short film is 11 minutes long, and opened at the same time as Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, on March 4, 2020.
The premise of this short film is that Mickey and Minnie are going on vacation to Walt Disney World, but Mickey is stressing out about what he needs to pack. It gives a look at flashbacks from Mickey’s previous vacations and adventures, when things went awry. The episode flashbacks include:
- Panda-monium
- Couple Sweaters
- Potatoland – Goofy
- Croissant de Triomphe
- Entombed
- Dumb Luck
- Al Rojo Vivo
- Yodelberg
- Outback at Ya!
Mickey soon realizes that he has barely packed, but is now late to pick up his beloved Minnie. He rushes, grabbing anything he can think of, and makes his way to Florida. However, Mickey realizes as they get ready to enter the park that they forgot Pluto back at home. They reach through the mail to bring Pluto to Magic Kingdom with them so that they can all enjoy their vacation.
This attraction is perfect for the middle of the day when the sun is hot and everyone needs a break. The theater is wheelchair accessible, air conditioned, and great for kids. This film gives guests the opportunity to enjoy Disney, in a low key way.

Vacation Fun – An Original Animated Short With Mickey & Minnie is inside of Disney’s Hollywood Studios. It can be located across from Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular and Echo Lake.
The wait times for this attraction are low with very small increases throughout the day. Guests should be sure to take advantage of this fact by saving it for the middle of the day when they need a break from walking or the heat. Although it occasionally has increases with more traffic, they typically die down quickly since the theater can fit so many people at once.
Queue Experience
The outside portion of the queue simply looks like a regular theater, but with an interactive surprise. It is peppered with animated posters that represent different adventures that Mickey and Minnie have taken. The best part is that they begin to move when guests walk by. This queue also has the option on Play Disney for games and trivia that is personalized to the attraction.
The queue to exit is also very fun. Guests will be transported into life size remodels of each vacation that is depicted in the animated short. This is a prime opportunity for play and pictures.
